When no-one knew how to look after the triumph Vee properly, a popular
swap was with the Rover 3.5 litre (or in the states a Buick 251 ?).
Alternatively you could go with the Triumph six with which it was
originally designed. my personal choice would be with a supercharged 
Cobra 427 and with the body converted into a pick up.:-)
