Stub axle removal TR3A

Once the inner nut is removed, is the stub axle supposed to just pull out
towards me from the suspension up-right?

The inner bearing is seized on the stub and the stub is seized to the
up-right, and I just want to be sure I'm pulling in the right direction if
I can get a wheel puller on it.
