If a couple people on the list want to work together to
come up with a comprehensive answer to this question
(kind of like the ignition article by Dan & Barry, or
Ross' polishing/waxing article), I'd love to be able to
put it on the VTR WWW pages!

Anybody out there willing to have a stab at it?

(I can do the formatting into HTML, and insertion of
any pictures / diagrams you can supply!)
