John, There is a product called "The Right Stuff" which can be found at many auto-parts stores. It's a black type of sealant which comes in a "cheeze-whiz" type of can. I just used it on my oil pan on the TR6 and I'm VERY VERY impressed. The oil pan does not leak a drop, and I DID NOT USE A GASKET. This is a gasket replacement and man does it work. It's not cheap though, about $15 a can. I'm going to pull the transmission this fall/winter and seal it up. Needless to say, I'm mearly a happy customer of the above product and have nothing to gain except a clean garage floor. -Scotty '75TR6 |
