TR6 reverse

FYI,  early cars DID have a lift to shift into reverse pattern.  My TR4A
was the same and I think TR250's were as well.

Somewhere in the earliest cars I think they changed that.  All they did was
modify the shifter top assembly so maybe a late car with this need has an
early selector mechanism.

Now cna someone explain to me why the 3rd gear on the GT6 4 speed fans to
the right like a foul pop fly  into right field?!?
