Subject: RE: Triumph Racing Color, from: c394829@is6.mdc.com (Kurt Oblinger) Friends, Kurt's list of national racing colours looks like a good basis for an interesting historic thread: how about we get contributions from around the world. My contribution: Australia: BRG with a gold stripe. The List so far: England: BRG Italy: Italian racing red France: French racing blue Switzerland: White/red stripe Belgium: Yellow Germany: White at first then Silver (more below) USA: White/blue stripes or Blue/white stripes if you're Carroll Shelby Spain: Yellow/red stripe Australia: BRG with a gold stripe. ------------------------------ Max Blyton 1968 TR5 PI O/D (original owner) 1980 TR7 AUSTRALIA max.blyton@airservices.gov.au Fax: +61 6 268 5950 ------------------------------ |
