If memory serves, there isn't much of anything on the carb of a '73 Spit
that would be affected by what you propose. However, I'm throwing this
reply out to the Triumphs list; perhaps someone else can give you more
detailed information.
I also confess that I don't know if there are any significant differences
between Canadian and U.S.-spec. Spitfires for 1973.
