I just read from Gene M. (70 TR6)....
"The Calif. bill to exempt cars 25 yrs & older (SB42) passed the state
Senate on 3/20/97 by a vote of 33-0. It is now in the Assembly where it
has been sent to the Transportation Committee. 1st hearing date 4/14
postponed. 2nd hearing date 4/21 postponed. If you support this bill,
might need to send some email to get it off the dime."
Does anyone know the status of this? Good model legislation will protect us
all. I would like to know the details of the bill and the results.
