I'm well aware this is our TRIUMPH list but I'm hoping I can get some
diagnostic expertise from the vast knowledge embodied by this list on the
'69 Honda SL350 that I have just acquired.
First time I hit the electric starter button it turned over the motor for a
second or two then seem to run out of juice. Pressing the button after that
only produces a click. I fully charged the battery and cleaned both posts
and connections and tried it again. All I get is the click. I believe this
is indicative of some common kind of starting system woe does any have any
ideas?
