Subject: GT6 for sale in Austin, TX (asking $990)

Fellow scions,

When I left God's great country to go back to Europe, I brought back my TR6
with me, but left my beloved GT6 Mk.3 in Austin with a friend to get it
sold. However, we have both been very busy (especially him :-)!), but now
is the time to sell it, and hopefully get a few bucks towards my TR6
project. The car is in Austin, Texas, and is GT6 Mk.3 from 1971, with a
TR250 engine (2.5 liter, CC prefix - so not low comprssion unit), 175's
carbs, modified manifold, monza exhaust, tubular header, recent
head-overall by Brit mechanic in Austin, new tires, small dent in bonnet,
no rust otherwise, and new carpet set. The car needs a paint job (chipped
paint a few places), new interior liner, and possibly some looking into the
engine, since I had problems with a piston ring on one cylinder. I had used
it as a daily driver for about six months (since I decided to drive that
instead of my GT6+) when I parked it in December, and since then it has
only been driven a few times.

If you know of anybody with interest - please drop me a line, and I will
put you in touch with the guy selling it for me. Would like to see it being
bought by somebody who appreciates British cars :-)

Thanks,

Michael

P.S. If you are interested, and live in TX, I am sure we can work something
out about you getting my personalized plates 'GT6' - but don't know how to
go about it.
