I just purchased a set from British Parts Northwest for my TR6 about two
months ago. Reading the same article from TRF, I asked the owner @ BPNW
and of course he assured me his were not soft. I bought a new cam so I
needed the lifters.
I don't think I'll get into the kind of service that this deficiency
will show up, but we'll see in a few months when I get my 74 TR6
running.
