No worries, absolutely no need to apoligise.

My brother has been in the TSSC for 8 (?) years -  I am new to Heralds,
but related to a veteran (with a convertable 13/60 and a smug grin during
sunny days).

As for being doomed, anyone know where to get BMC J4 valve seats?
Come to that, does anyone know anything at all about BMC J2/J4 vans.
Getting parts/advice/information for the Herald is an absolute breeze
compared to that monster.
