Hi to Jim Bauder, and fellow listers...
                                                                      This is
just to say a big hello to Jim,who was the very first, previously
unknown, fellow lister that I met in the 'real world',offline world?,wherever
that might be?,My directions on how he might make his way up to the
Stoneleigh Triumph show seem to have helped him,I hope that Jim found many
useful parts for his TR3 in boxes project at Stoneleigh. And who
knows, perhaps next time my Triumphs allow me enough spare
cash,whenever/whatever that might be? to visit CA, I'll hopefully get the
chance to drop in on Palo Alto to say Hi in person!!!

63 Vitesse Convertible (2LMk2),"almost there",rebuilt from scratch,(useful
stuff that!),after nearly 13 years,two resprays,two engine rebuilds,multiple
disasters,sleepless nights,blood,sweat,tears,greasy fingernails,ruinied
clothing,lost loves,years without holidays,enforced
penury,loans,credit,financial embarrasment,hours and hours of
overtime,returned parts,faulty goods,cynisism,loss of faith,storage
charges, pondering the meaning of life, hope,oh and about #35,000+/- (that
Pounds Sterling,not US Dollars!)

                                                                           67
Herald Convertible (presently 1296cc),215,000 miles, body never been off
chassis in 30 years, next in-line...but It's not getting the same attention to
deatil as the Vitesse,Life's too short!
68 Herald 13/60 Saloon in pretty Jasmine Yellow,93,000 miles,never
restored,daily driver.
**Remember, every entry on this list has a thinking,feeling,long-suffering
fellow triumph-enthusiast behind it,and therefore every problem shared is a
problem halved etc,so even if you are not interested in TR3
thermostats, someone else is,and you can skip quickly past that particulary
entry**
A restoration,like life,is a journey,it has a beginning,a middle and an
end,the journey is not always smooth, the route is often unpredictable and
changes direction without warning, there are always obstacles to overcome, but
with patience and determination, you can reach your goal and achieve
fulfilment...
