I haven't seen the Old Satchster since Albany (the previous one)...
I HAVE been using his technique for opening the "shampoo" however...
Didja see the atricle on the history of Triumph in this issue of VL?
Don't go rushing out to get a copy... I DO know the author...
You might say we're VERY close... If you play your
cards well I might be able to arrange for an autograph...;-)
John, Did you get my post (I think it was last month)?
You mentioned that your `4 was an ex vintage racer... I was
wondering from whom you bought the car... a guy I know, Charley
Kates, owned a red TR4 that was "wicked fast" on the vintage
circuits here about. He dropped out of sight a couple of years
back... as I remember, he lived in Nashville.
Ken Gillanders used to crew for him...
Take care... Give my regards to your missus
