Hardly more efficient... messages to newsgroups get wiped pretty
regularly... this gets to people because it's delivered to their
mailboxes.

You seem to be under a misapprehension. triumphs@autox.team.net is
available as both a mailing list and as a digest. The mailing list is
virtually as fast as a newsgroup.
