I just returned from England where I picked up four boxes of small bits & pieces
- mostly interior and electrical -for my 1970 TR6. The one thing you don't
want to buy in England is body parts. First off, the supply is low - about only
10% TR6s stayed in England. Secondly, the rain/moisture takes a terrible toll
on sheet metal. Most shops that I talked to import their spare body parts.
Guess from where? Yep, the good ole United States. Thirdly, you can't beat the
price of sheet metal in the States.
My advice, cram that container full of TR6 parts. You could sell the excess at
a profit that would offset your own expenses.
Good luck,
Cheers,
Dave
