I am having quite the problem with regard to a backordered replacement
heater control valve for my 64 Mk I Spitfire. My old one was totally
trashed and I ordered one from John Kipping Spares months ago, however, they
keep telling me it is on backorder with no delivery date in sight.
According to Kipping, the part number for this little gem is 560611,
however, that number does not exist in the TRF parts catalog.

(1) Does anyone know of an immediate source for the heater valve? (2) Does a
heater valve from say a TR-4, TR-6, or other Triumph model fit as a direct
replacement? (3) Does anyone have a used (but functional) heater valve with
which they would be willing to part for a small contribution from me towards
their beer fund? Thanks in advance for the help.
