Let me second T.J.'s comment. I've tried Grose-Jets and never been happy
with them. I've had two bad right out of the envelope. One, the balls were
stuck shut - no gas into the float, and the other, they were stuck open.
When I did get a set that "worked" they leaked under pressure, just like
Eric's. And no, the fuel pressure was not too high. (it was on a stock TR3
with a mechanical pump.) I went back to the old needle valves and haven't
had a problem since.
Conclusion: I will never use Grose-Jets again.
(As usual YMMV, MHO, FWIW, LSMFT, STP and any other acronym you want to
toss in.)
