I have a question about the tenax posts on the windshield of my Tr-3A('59).
I have three windshields and used the "best" one on the car. However,
when I got further along I noticed a difference in the tenax posts for
attaching the top. My preferred windshield has two piece posts that
require holes completely through the frame. The round nubin is at the end
of a threaded part that has a screwdriver slot on the other (driver side)
of the post. A small nut secures the post to the windshield frame. They
appear very similiar from the outside and work well with my new TRF snaps
but the problem is that I am missing two of them. Because the hole goes
through the frame and is considerably larger than the real ones I cannot
mix the two styles. I checked into hardtop attachments wondering if these
were from a hardtop install but I didn't get any help along those lines.
So..., any information about these will be greatly appreciated and should
someone out there know where I can get two of them I would be (almost)
forever in your debt.
