Chet,
 I caught the mistake, read my next post.
 I used to use Mothers paste on aluminum fuel tanks, intake stacks and 
wheels on a Kenworth. 
 I think there is now a sealer from Mothers which precludes the use of 
spray laquer to keep it looking nice.
