Gee, Pete, just one day before my 10th birthday. Would have made a nice

By strictest definition, I have no one-owner Triumphs. However, my 1964
Herald 1200, GA119167LCV, was bought new by my dad in January 1964, at
the advertised price of $1949 plus whatever the dealer tacked on for
this and that. No options to speak of, save for the Air-Flow wheel
covers, which I think were pretty much "mandatory options".
FDU44306L, my 1969 Mk.3 Spitfire, is a two-owner car (if you don't count
the Dodge dealer from whom we bought the car in January 1971.) We paid
$1500 for that, primarily because, while clean and in reasonable running
condition, it sported several dings and dents. (Exact duplicates at
other nearby dealers were going as high as $1995.)

No. The TR4 handle was similar in operation to the Mk.2-3 Spitfire
handle, but different in style.
