Hi - small problem that we could use some advice on.
Our wiper switch (the round kind) works fine - now that I rewired it from the
way the PO tried it. Which as I understand is good since these switches are
no longer available?
Question - it now turns in the dash when you trie to activate it. Took the
dash off, (not in the best of shape) and it looked like there had been some
sort of metal plate recessed in the back of it running from the headlamp
switch down to the wiper switch. Just a small portion of it present.
Is this so, and is this what the rounded bump on the top of the wiper switch
was to have fit in to keep it from spinning around?
