Being in compliance and enforcing it....is a rock and hard place. (My
sympathies to Carl)

In a perfect world we would not have any rules...........

Making more rules and creating incentives to do the 'right thing' doesnt
work, methinks.

I have a TR4 in my garage that belongs to a guy in Europe. It has a $30K
engine and transmission in it, and is capable of sub-2:50 laps at Road America.
It
is in compliance for VSCDA and SVRA racing.

Right next to it is my TR4 #197 that is capable of 3:00 laps at Road America.
It is also in compliance for VSCDA and SVRA, but I have a lot of stock and
original TR parts in my car, AND a lot less money invested.

Something I can live with if I want to race.

I retired from a large corporation that was necessarily run with a lot rules
and regulations and "Blue Bulletins". I like the personal freedom I now enjoy.

Say "NO" to more rules....
