When Elmo's spindle broke at Gingerman, Carl Braun who has destroyed a lot of machinery for Deere intentionally was able to take a look at the fracture and read the history of the fracture in the tell-tale marks on the two pieces. When it is a mechanical failure, I vote for letting people examine it to try to learn something  |
