The Sprite Midget Race Series heads to Waterford Hills Vintage Road Races i=
n Clarkston Michigan July 21 =E2=80=93 23, 2023. The 3rd stop of the 4 race=
Series. They will have a bonus feature race for all Sprites and Midgets at=
no extra charge to the $425 entry fee. It is rumored that the track was de=
signed in the 1950=E2=80=99s by a future Bugeye racer. This is a 1.5 mile t=
rack with some elevation changes. The fastest cars hit over 120 mph on the =
back straight just before heavy braking to make a 90 degree right-hand turn=
. With one corner speed as low 25mph and another at 80mph, there's a lot of=
acceleration and braking every lap. =C2=A0There is currently a plan to ha=
ve a large tent to house several Spridgets in the camping area outside of T=
urn 6. Stand by for confirmation. We will hold our traditional SMRS Lunch w=
ith brats and sides for our crews, visitors, and drivers. At this time, I a=
m looking for cooks and people to handle the lunch affair. Set up, take dow=
