Hi Bob,
The HS2's with spring loaded needles were used on most of the 12V 1275's. M=
ount the needles just like the fixed needles with the shoulder flush with th=
e bottom of the piston and tune away, just like with the fixed needles. The=
spring loaded needles make it less critical to get the jet centered exactly=
right. =20
The plastic floats are tougher to get adjusted correctly, but it can be done=
by shimming the float needle seat. =20

ts. Any one have a source that will tell me how you adjust carbs with these=
s needles?
