Rods are difrent between 1/4 eliptic and 1/2 eliptic rear axles.  That 
pivoting thingy is the same as far as I'm aware of.  ChuckLearned that 
between kevin saying something about it and putting a functional park brake in 
the Midget which was missing every part from lever's chrome release button to
