Good call on the stock pushrods, Mike. Even with clearance-ing =C2=A0of ho=
les, there is no real reason to use tubular pushrods. I've had them bend ju=
st as readily as stock ones. I've had the same stock pushrods in my now 10+=
year old race engine for seven years without any issues. The benefits of g=
ood oiling outweigh any marginal benefits the tubular ones offer. I assure =
you I am beating my motor harder than just about anyone on the list. Redlin=
e oil and proper clearances are key to extended life at 8000 RPM

the rocker bushings, but there is only a few thousand miles on the rocker =
assembly since the 1275 was built a few years ago. They are high rati=

p; The very first time I put oil in the engine, the oil would fill the valv=
e cover before it would eventually drain down in the block. When I bu=
ilt this engine I went kinda crazy trying to lighten the valve train and in=
stalled hollow pushrods. Besides, they don't flex or bend. The proble=
m is the holes that the pushrods pass through were enlarged, but apparently=
