[Spridgets] Panhard rod - arc

Hi list, especially you clever maths/geometry types.
 
I want to plot the arc, an inch at a time that a 30 inch panhard rod tip  
moves away from vertical for 8 inches, given it starts at zero when the bar 
is  horizontal.
 
If you cannot understand my poorly framed question that please don't ask  
me to clarify it.  NOPE, I don't want to use a couple of nails and some  
string - I've already done that and my answer is imprecise and I want to  
correct that data with actual figures I should be getting.
