Some "Makers" have a 3D printer for sale at $1300. It only prints small items, but it is amazing what they can do with the machine (which you must build before using from their kit.). http://store.makerbot.com/makerbot-thing-o-matic.html Check on items made at www.thingiverse.com >It looks like the cheepy personal printer is about $10,000.
