And to be totally honest, none of them are environmentally clean as they all
require manufacturing that requires energy use. That said, it is a LOT easier
to keep a point source clean (power plant) rather than a million moving
vehicles.
And this is nothing new.
Show me a car running a small constant velocity fuel use optimized diesel
running a small electric generator to keep the electric motor running.
