Interesting and good info.

I'd like to hear of anyone buying any tires within the last 6 months or so
to hear what kind of date codes they got. My gut feeling is the 13" tires
are getting harder to find which is obviously a reflection on demand.
Unfortunately, I think it will also be reflected in the date codes.

Heard,
I bought 145x13's back in 2008. One source is: sportsnclassics@aol.com which
quoted me about $60 per tire back then. I bought from Tires Unlimited, ltd.
(Ohio, If I remember correctly) Here's part of a note from them:

Anyway, here's how the Vredesteins shake out:
Aspect ratio on ALL "hard" or European metrics is fixed at 80 percent.
145R13 Vredestein Sprint+ $53.30 (13 lbs.) each x 5 = $266.5 (65 lbs.)
ER12/13 radial tubes $7.06 (1 lbs.) each x 5 = $35.30 (5 lbs.)
Shipping 70 pounds to Midland, MI is $27.65
Total delivered price is $329.45

I bought tubes and rim liners from Moss because I have wire wheels. Ed (Just
Brits) says the Vredestein is a well respected tire. I am happy with them
too.
