As you no doubt suspect, all that guff about things rotating in the
opposite direction in the southern hemisphere is a load of nonsense.

As far as an explanation of the phenomena (cue singing Muppets; doot
doo doo doo), Perhaps some time spent with a whimmy-diddle (go ahead,
google it) would be educational?
