hey yall
having some clutch issues and was wanting a little feedback. I thought my
issue was hydraulic, I have a new master and slave and line, bled it and
still no real pressure. I had the wife pump it while I was under the car
inspecting the slave... it seemed to actuate fully.
however, the clutch lever coming out of the tranny housing was fully back to
the rear of the car and the clutch was still not engaging.
my question is, is it possible to engage the clutch by hand (under the car and
ignoring the hydraulics) to test if something in the clutch itself is not
broken. I could move the lever back and forth and it did not seem to engage
or disengage.
I am not sure if this is possible the manually move the clutch if I pull on
the lever or If am even accomplishing anything.
secondly how would I know if this works as I do not really want to do this
with the engine running....
in all I cannot tell if the clutch is really moving- save for the fact that I
cannot get the car in gear while it is running
any help would be great
