I've kinda been there and have the marks on my head to prove it. My ceiling
is higher, but I had similar issues. The garage door opener was in the way.
When I first put the lift in, I was horrified to find out that I couldn't fit
one car over the other. ( One of those "Oh-No!" moments ) I don't have a
picture of it handy, but because of the location of the garage door opener, I
really had to tweak the position of the lift, which involved moving a lot of
stuff; I moved the door opener 3" higher; and I had to change which car was on
top to take full advantage of that wedge front end. On my first attempt, I
could not lower the lift onto it's locks without hitting the Midget's
windshield frame. I considered letting air out of tires, but got them in
without resorting to that. This of course was done as our first winter snow
was falling.

Now, it looks like this, except that the BRG Sprite is on jack stands with the
Fiat in that vacant spot partially under the Sprite.

My son will take the Fiat at some point.
