Turn them back upside and remove the sump. If the 12CJ block is solid
under the centre main it's arguably the strongest 1275 Spridget block. The
12CD will have a casting window under the centre main that you might want to
tidy up and crack test.

They were sitting upside down and I didn't notice the plate. One is
12CD/DA/H 25363 ('68 MK3 MG). The other is 12CJ/DA/H 36677 ('70-'71 MK 4 MG).
