It depends on the fire. If the fire was in the engine compartment I
would probably pass on it and find another. There are too many out
there to bother with a fire damaged motor.
I've given away good 1275 cores.
An experienced mechanic might need to look at it., though as the
extent of the damage might be mild.
You (or a strapping helper) should be able to turn the motor over
manually if the battery/wiring is damaged.
Did the fire originate with the car or was the car in a structure that burned?
