Depends on where you live. Not sure about up North, but most of the
States allow sales between individuals within the same state. From
State to state is a different matter, and an FFL is required unless
there is an inheritance or the like. Some states do put additional
restrictions, so checking with a FFL or your local police is always a
good idea.
