Are the bleeder nipples in the correct holes on the calipers?
I don't have one in front of me but there is a plug and a bleeder, if
you mix them up, no squirt.
How are the rubber brake hoses? If they are 10 years old or older, cut
them and replace them.
They tend to collapse in time and could burst when you hit the brakes.
