Vapor lock is a condition that occurs under high heat conditions. I would
not expect it to happen with temps in the mid 60s. Also more common with
mechanical fuel pump rather than electric: the fuel vaporizes in the line
just before the fuel pump 'cuz it's so hot. Then the pump can't get any
fuel to pump. Pulling the choke out could cause the symptoms to go away for
a short period.
