Was out and about today in the Midget when I heard a strange noise. Couldn't
place it. Not engine, not wheels, not suspension. Then noticed some movement
in the clutch pedal - as in it lowered itself fractionally, then raised back
up again. As I continued on (toward the house) It began to be apparent that
it was indeed something to do with the tranny or clutch as I eventually began
to hear a bit of dry metal rubbing sound when depressing the clutch.
Throw-out bearing? Other suggestions? Any chance it will not involve
removing the engine/tranny?
