Don't disparage TP oil filters!  My Borgward Isabella Combi had a tp oil 
filter and it had over 200K miles on it.  Al-Can highway to Yucatan and 
back, the PO swore.  Cheapest oil change I ever did and the extra "filter 
material" still had other uses!  You had to strip off about a third of a 
fresh roll to fit it in, or remember to save a home roll when it got to the 
right size for the Borgward.
