I have had good luck reforming a masonite molded ceiling (headliner)
piece from my old Jag XJ6.
I soaked it well, laid paint cans and such in the nooks and logs under
the crannies.
Set it out in the sun to dry and it took the original shape again.
On a Bugeye, all but the door panels are just flat 1/8" masonite (aka
hard board) And even the door pockets are flat but curved with the help
of the metal band at the top.
They are simple to make if you have a hand held power jig saw. If the
vinyl is OK, you can use that as a pattern or make a cardboard template
first.
