oh boy, oh boy, one I can answer...
3) .. you have two different advances, mechanical, that is
marked on the weights, and vacuum. your MAX advance is the TOTAL
of the two.
2) i don't think there is a way to know the answer to your
question without putting it on a dyno and trying it out. the
factory recommendation is right on the money IF your engine is
unmodified..
