My trunk lid has been tweaked about 1/2 inch, apparently from pushing down on
it with the stay locked. I am not heavy enough to just support the edge and
bend it down with my hands. I would have to stand on it. If I use two padded
boards and a C-clamp, all the bending force will be on a single point. Does
anyone know whether or not this can be done (carefully) without kinking the
lid?
