Hmmm. Couldn't have been from the Southern California wildfires. The
nearest one to Goleta was 50 miles away, and it was a minor one put out in
a few hours.
However, the Associated Press reports there have been uncontrolled fires
reported in Greater Hinggan, China, as well as other fires in Chongqing
and Wujiang City.
