My Miata's seats end about the base of my neck.  I'd rather hit my
head on the padded roll bar than have the top of the seat form a pivot
point for my neck in a rear ender.  Hard Dog has pics and testimonials
on their website from people who have rolled their cars.
I am thinking hard about what the best padding might be for such things.
