[Spridgets] Carb Cleaning

 I am getting ready to start getting the carbs re-kitted, and I want
to vat them. I have the 1 gallon can of that old nasty purple vatting
acid. Is it safe to put all the parts in there? Will the acid harm the
smooth walls inside the piston dome?
