Assuming you're talking about the APT SPVP-3, go with the larger 1.4 intake valves. This cam about stock below 3...really "comes in" strongly @ 3k+ and will go to 7+ if rest of engine up to it. I ran 11.0-1 with my plain VP3, cast iron head, 1.4 Rimflows when using a mix of CAM2 and prem. unleaded., 30 degrees of total advance, CHT-11 big bore header/2" exhaust. Went like a raped ape.
