Finally had time to troubleshoot why the horns don't work on my 73 Midget.
The previous owner switched from the original steering wheel to the
wood steering wheel that VB sells. Unfortunately for me he failed to
install the horn brush in the steering wheel hub when he did that.
When I called VB they stated they can't supply one separate from a new
wheel.
I'm guessing the brush from the original wheel would work ... does
anyone have a spare horn brush they would like to get rid of ? If so
please contact me off list.
